Queensland Union Pride is proud to launch the inaugural Union Pride Awards.
These awards, formally announced on the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) on 17 May, celebrate the difference unions have made for the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community.
The Awards will share the stories of unions who have made significant achievements by supporting LGBTIQ+ activists, allies and unionists.
The two Union Pride Award categories are:
- Outstanding Union Campaign; and
- Outstanding Delegate/Activist
Nominations are now invited for this year’s awards and must be submitted by 30 June 2023. Download a nomination form below:
Award recipients will be announced at the QCU Union Pride Awards ceremony on Friday, 22 September 2023.
